The founder assembled 14 young people with similar vision as him to help him reach out to the teenagers who are the main target group of the organization. Initially TOHI was called AGAPE TRINITY SONS. But later the name was changed to HOPE SELF HELP DEVELOPMENT GROUP but still the name further changed to TEENS OF HOPE INITIATIVE which was a network of several youth /women groups drawn across the n
on formal settlements of Nairobi Kenya. His vision was to bring Holistic transformation in the lives of the teenagers. The organization embarked on some programs that concern teen’s life transformation.

1. TOHI has brought rapid awareness to the teens on social issues that require holistic approach
2. TOHI can proudly boasts of 3 girl soccer teams
I.e. under 12, 14 & over 16
3. A lot of teens are actively involved in other talents development programs:
o Acrobats
o Dancing & singing.
4. We have established links with 24 schools through our educational program.
5. We’ve helped marshal the community members through the formation of 38 women groups & 26 youths groups in Nairobi province that seek to empower women and youths economically and socially.
6. Establishment of annual Talent Development Competition and Sports Tournaments;

a) Financial constrains due to our large fiscal program. b) Lack of modern technology to facilitate quick evaluation and monitoring that eases the general administration of all programs. c) Slow buying of the vision by the community
d) Lack of an adequate administration center for general operations of all existing program.
