Even in the most remote places where formal theological training is limited, God is raising leaders who are hungry to learn, grow, and teach His Word faithfully.

Through our pastoral training programs, IDA is heeding to the call to go where the need is greatest. No place is too far, and no group is too small.

This training is strengthening church leaders with sound Biblical teaching, discipleship, and practical ministry tools that impact entire communities.

You too can be part of this mission. You are welcome to sponsor a pastor and help bring Biblical training and encouragement to leaders who are faithfully serving where resources are limited.

In a world where many people are searching for answers from the Bible, faithful expositional preaching becomes very important. How can pastors faithfully guide their churches to understand the message of Scripture, its context, and its practical application in everyday life?

Expositional preaching is one of the topics taught through IDA programs to help pastors engage deeply with God’s Word and ground them in truth that transforms both their hearts and practice as pastors.

The book of Jonah is one of the books that we recently used for training on expositional preaching.

Today we celebrate pastors and church leaders who labour faithfully and passionately in teaching the word of God.

As IDA we pledge to continue equipping them with the tools, skills and resources they need to keep going. We will continue to bridge the gap that particularly hinders bivocational pastors from accessing formal training by ensuring that they do not have to be away from their farms, businesses or families to access pastoral training and become effective leaders.

This is our commitment. Happy labour day.

This week, IDA hosted a 3 day Vacation Bible School (VBS) at PCEA Evergreen Runda, creating a joyful and relaxed environment for children to learn and grow in God’s Word.

Through play, craft, storytelling, and acting, the children explored the powerful message of Jesus’ death and resurrection in a way that was engaging, memorable, and age-appropriate.

The theme for April's VBS has been, The Risen King: From Cross to Crown. It was aimed at helping children understand the hope, victory, and love found in the death and resurrection of Christ.

At the heart of healthy churches are faithful pastors leading with biblical conviction.
This past week IDA was at Southend Baptist Church in Kilifi for a two day workshop aimed at equipping pastors tto preach expositionally and handle scripture faithfully.
IDA is staying true to the call to equip those who equip others.

What an incredible two days in Laikipia on Sept 5th & 6th! 🙌 We trained 32 pastors and church leaders, equipping them with a deeper understanding of the Gospel, Biblical Theology, and Biblical Doctrines. These trainings are LIFE-CHANGING and so needed! 💡

We're thrilled to see these leaders empowered to guide their congregations with faithful, Christ-centered leadership. A huge THANK YOU to for their simple and powerful resources that make this possible! 📖✝️

Intentional Discipleship Africa was honored to conduct a one-day theological workshop on Biblical Theology with five pastors in Narok, in partnership with Light Christian Fellowship Church.

We are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen pastors in the Word and to serve the church for the glory of Christ. 🙏📖

Intentional Discipleship Africa had the honour of conducting a VBS program at PCEA Evergreen under the theme Anchored in the Gospel.

Intentional discipleship means exposing man to his greatest need — the Gospel. Over 250 children were taught both the meaning of the Gospel and the life of the Gospel. 🌍✝️
