Change happens through collaboration.

The performances leveraging arts-driven messaging to raise awareness among youth, foster dialogue, and contribute to community reintegration efforts.

Youth in informal settlements like Kibera, Mathare, and Korogocho are often targeted by extremist recruiters. But youth + arts = a powerful shield.

Radicalization is a process – and so is prevention.
At our event, students performed powerful plays and spoken-word pieces on radicalization because art reaches where bullets cannot.

❓ What’s the first word that comes to mind when you hear “violent extremism”?
Fear? Anger? Silence?

Now what about THEATRE?
Hope? Voice? Courage?

Exactly. That’s why we’re using arts to fight extremism. Drop a 🎭 if you agree.
