The overall goal for G.G is to promote Sexual and reproductive health status for Adolescents Girl's and

young women. OUR OBJECTIVES ARE:
1. To Advocate for the availability of quality SRH Services on adolescent and young women.

2. To increase accessibility and utilization of adolescent health and counselling services.

3. To create a safe and supportive environment for adolescents in order to improve their legal, social and economic status.

4 To End Child marriage in the community and build a healthier, safer, more prosperous world where no girl is left behind

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Ibrahim Sangolo elected as Vice-Chairperson of Generation Guiders CBO Advisory Board.
Dr. Ibrahim brings extensive expertise in psychology, SRHR, youth development, and community-based programming, with a strong focus on empowering adolescent girls and young women.

His experience in mental health promotion, youth mentorship, and strategic program guidance will be invaluable as the Advisory Board supports Generation Guiders’ mission to create lasting impact in communities.

Community Theatre for Change is a creative advocacy program by Generation Guiders that uses drama, dance, music, and spoken word to educate, engage, and raise awareness about critical issues affecting adolescent girls and young people, including:

4. Gender-based violence

Planning for Girls Festival 2026 is Underway!

Generation Guiders CBO is excited to kick off preparations for Girls Festival 2026 in Githurai 45, on 20th November 2026!

Generation Guiders is kindly requesting support in the form of office furniture donations to strengthen our administration and program coordination work in Githurai, Nairobi.

As a community-based organization working to empower adolescent girls and young women through SRHR education, mentorship, and advocacy, we rely on a functional workspace to plan, document, and implement our programs effectively. Currently, we are in need of basic office furniture such as:

1. Office desks
2. Chairs
3. Shelves / cabinets
4. Meeting table
5. Storage units

Support from well-wishers and partners will greatly enhance our ability to serve the community efficiently and professionally.

Subject: Call for Applications: Generation Guiders Advisory Board 2026

Generation Guiders is excited to announce the recruitment of its new Advisory Board for 2026. We are seeking passionate, experienced, and committed individuals to provide strategic guidance, expertise, and support as we continue empowering adolescent girls and young women in Githurai, Nairobi, and beyond.

About the Role:
1. Advisory Board members provide advice, mentorship, and oversight to ensure the organization’s programs are impactful and aligned with our mission.

2. Members are expected to participate in four online meetings per year (1.5–2 hours each) and may occasionally join ad-hoc discussions or email correspondence.

3. Time commitment: approximately 3–4 hours per month.

4. Term: Three years, renewable once (maximum six years).

5. This is a voluntary, unpaid role

Who We’re Looking For:
1) Individuals with expertise in areas such as:

2) Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

3) Gender equality and advocacy

4) Youth engagement and mentorship

5) Community development

6) Education, health, or social services
