Prosperity Junior Centre We are a Christian organization founded in 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya with the aim of transforming the lives of vulnerable children through Education.

We have a population of 69 resident children and a school population of 415 needy children.

A day before schools reopened, our hearts were filled with so much hope and expectation. We believed that all our children would return to school smoothly, ready to continue learning, dreaming, and building a brighter future.

Unfortunately, for some of our children, that hope was interrupted. Due to lack of school fees, several of them were unable to return to school and have remained at home while their classmates continue with their lessons. đź’”

Today marks the end of the second week of the school term, and we now have only six weeks remaining before the next holiday. Every day a child stays out of school is a day of learning and opportunity lost.

Yet, we continue to believe in the kindness and compassion of friends who understand that education can change the story of a child forever. ❤️📚

Dear friends and well-wishers of Prosperity Junior Centre e, our dear children are getting ready to return to school tomorrow, Monday 24th, and Tuesday 25th August for the Third Term.

As they begin another important term, we humbly appeal for your kind support towards their school fees and transportation costs. Every contribution, big or small, helps keep a child in school and gives them hope for a brighter future.

THIRD TERM EDUCATION SUPPORT APPEAL – OUR HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN

Dear Friends, Supporters and Well-wishers of Prosperity Junior Centre,

Warm greetings from our Prosperity family. We hope you are all keeping well.

As the August holiday comes to an end, we are grateful to God that our high school children have been well and safe at home. They are now excited and looking forward to returning to school for Third Term on Monday, 24th August 2026.

As we prepare them to return, we humbly reach out once again for your kind financial support towards their Third Term school fees, back-to-school shopping and transport expenses.

Our total budget required is KSh 363,550.

For these young people, returning to school means much more than attending classes. Education gives them hope, dignity, opportunity and the possibility of a brighter future. Every contribution, whether big or small, will help us ensure that none of our children is left behind because of lack of school fees or basic school requirements.

We would be deeply grateful for any support towards meeting this need. Your kindness means the world to our children and to the entire Prosperity family.

A Heartfelt Farewell and Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers from Malta 🇲🇹❤️(Aggie,Natasha, Micheal,Chris & Saju).

Today, our hearts are filled with both gratitude and emotion as we bid farewell to our incredible volunteers from Malta. Though your visit has come to an end, the love, kindness, and joy you have shared with the children and family of Prosperity Junior Centre will remain in our hearts for a very long time.

Thank you for organizing such a wonderful farewell celebration and for treating our children to delicious pizzas, chocolates, sodas, popcorn, cakes, and many other special snacks. For many of our children, this was not just a meal—it was a beautiful experience filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

This is now the second time our children have been blessed with such an amazing feast. Last year, Odette and Angelle touched our hearts with a similar act of generosity, and this year you have continued that beautiful tradition. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces reminded us that love is often expressed through simple acts of kindness that leave a lasting impact.

Thank you for every hug, every conversation, every shared meal, every game, every smile, and every moment you spent with our children. You made each child feel valued, loved, and remembered. Your compassion has planted seeds of hope that will continue to grow in their lives.

As you return home, please know that you leave behind a family in Kenya that loves you dearly and will always keep you in our prayers. Dear Parents,Guardians & Friends,

It is with deep regret and great disappointment to inform you our dear learners who qualified for the Kenya Music Festival National Competition will unfortunately not travel to Bungoma County tomorrow, Monday, 3rd August 2026.

The journey to Bungoma is quite long, and all qualifying teams are required to cater for their own transport, accommodation, meals and other related expenses. Despite our best efforts in championing at Nairobi Regional , the school management is currently unable to raise the substantial amount required. We had sincerely hoped to make this possible without placing another financial burden on our parents.

We are deeply sorry, especially to our talented learners who worked extremely hard and represented our school so proudly. Reaching the national level is already a remarkable achievement, and we celebrate their dedication, discipline and talent even though circumstances have prevented us from completing this journey.

Please accept our sincere apologies and understanding. This is a very painful and unfortunate situation for the entire Prosperity Junior Centre family. We remain proud of our learners and pray that greater opportunities will come their way in the future.
