We realize
that at least every year in Kenya there are numerous cases especially in the villages and slums reported on children from poor families who perform extremely well in their primary exams and fail to join secondary schools due to lack of school fees, uniforms, stationary etc. However, this has been seen to disadvantage children from poor background in rural and slums areas where majority of the people live below poverty levels as per the World Bank specification of USD1.5. In the last 5 years the number of reported cases of pupils who have performed extremely well in their primary education and have not gotten an opportunity join secondary schools has rapidly increased .Consequently, as an organization, we have come up with this initiative and mechanism to identify such bright vulnerable children and those who drop out of school due to similar cases in the community. The organization receives such cases on daily basis and offer support where possible. Together we can do something to help the vulnerable and less fortunate in the society and therefore we call upon donors and well- wishers to help us realize and give hope to such hopeless, bright and vulnerable child in the society.
