Joyful Women Organisation is an NGO established to promote women's economic empowerment in Kenya and beyond through financial inclusion, collective agency, voice and influence. Our flagship project is the provision of financial resources to women to engage in livelihood projects through table banking and this remains our core strategic intervention as it strengthens the response to other key issue

s such as supporting access to markets for products from livelihood projects, supporting the growth of women's small businesses into large scale investments and finally strengthening the identification and incubation of diverse livelihood projects.

Yesterday, hundreds of women gathered in Kabichbich, West Pokot County, to celebrate resilience, determination, and the vital role women play in transforming families and communities. As members of the Joyful Women Organization, they continue to demonstrate that when women are economically empowered, entire communities prosper.

We were honoured to join our Patron, Her Excellency Mama Rachel Ruto, in advancing initiatives that will strengthen livelihoods and create lasting impact. The handover of bulk milk coolers to farmers’ cooperatives, distribution of Hass avocado seedlings, and donation of water tanks to schools will boost household incomes, improve nutrition, and expand access to safe water for children and families across the region.

At Joyful Women Organization, we remain committed to empowering women through economic opportunities, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient communities by ensuring every woman has the tools, resources, and confidence to thrive.

The greatest joy of a mother is seeing her child happy, healthy, and thriving. Every smile, every achievement, and every milestone reached fills a mother’s heart with pride, hope, and gratitude.

As we commemorate the Day of the African Child, we are reminded that access to clean water, proper sanitation, quality education, and good health are not privileges—they are fundamental rights that every child deserves.

Through the work of Joyful Women Organization, many women have been empowered to provide their children with better access to education, improved nutrition, and clean water at home through initiatives such as subsidized water tanks. These efforts have strengthened families, improved livelihoods, and given mothers the dignity and opportunity to create better futures for their children.
