New week, new intention: How do we connect with our bodies?
Do we notice shifts during anger, joy, or stress?
Do we listen to our sensations, honor our needs, and stay regulated?
This week, let’s ask: What is my body telling me—and am I truly listening?

Starting the week with purpose and positivity
This week, we’re reflecting on the energy, lessons, and inspiration sparked by ’s unforgettable visit to Kenya.

His journey wasn’t just a moment—it was a movement. A reminder that one person’s presence can light up a community, bridge cultures, and turn joy into action. From laughter to love, from curiosity to connection, he showed us the power of showing up with heart.

Let’s carry that same energy into our week:
🔥 Bold enough to inspire
💛 Joyful enough to unite
🌍 Impactful enough to leave a legacy

Wherever you are, whatever you do—make it count.

Happy New Year 2026

As we step into 2026, we liken this new beginning to the planting of a tree. With care, intention, and unity, we place the seed of our shared vision into fertile ground. We water it with collaboration, enrich it with innovation, and shield it with trust and resilience.

Together—with our valued stakeholders and partner organizations—we nurture this tree, knowing that with patience and purpose, it will grow strong, bear fruit, and provide shade for generations to come.

May this year be one of deep roots, steady growth, and abundant harvests. Wishing you a blessed, fulfilling, and productive 2026.

Yesterday at Kiambiu in Kamukunji Sub County, we stood united—women, girls, boys, and men—against during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

As we marked the close of this global campaign, we made it clear: this is not the end, but the ignition of a stronger, louder, and more relentless movement for safety, dignity, and digital justice for all.

With every step we took through our community and every message we shared, we reaffirmed our collective commitment to a world where everyone—regardless of gender or age—can live, speak, and thrive free from online harm.

The walk may be over, but the journey continues. Together, we rise. Together, we protect. Together, we advocate.

Confronting Digital Violence with Compassion and Courage

In our increasingly connected world, violence doesn’t always leave bruises—it can be silent, digital, and devastating. From cyberbullying and online harassment to image-based abuse and doxxing, digital violence is real violence.

This , we must recognize that survivors of digital abuse carry invisible wounds. A trauma-informed approach reminds us to respond with empathy, not judgment. It means:

🔸 Believing survivors and validating their experiences
🔸 Prioritizing safety, consent, and privacy in all digital interactions
🔸 Advocating for stronger protections and accountability online
🔸 Educating ourselves and others on how to recognize and prevent digital harm

Let’s build digital spaces that are safe, inclusive, and empowering for all—especially women, girls, and marginalized communities who are disproportionately targeted.

Your voice matters. Your story matters. Together, we can .

Youth at the Forefront of Change!

We’re proud to share that our very own Ibrahim Hassan represented Diplomats For Health In Resilient Community at the Youth Engagement Forum held on 13–14 November 2025 at Corat Africa, Karen Nairobi.

This powerful two-day forum explored the intersection of Green and Digital Transitions—key pillars for Kenya’s sustainable development. Ibrahim joined fellow youth leaders in unpacking legal frameworks for environmental rights, exploring circular economy innovations, and mapping out collaborative strategies for resilient communities.

Key Takeaways:
Green and digital transitions are deeply interconnected and essential for inclusive progress.
Youth must be equipped to lead with knowledge, tools, and networks.
Digital solutions can amplify environmental action—and vice versa.

We celebrate Ibrahim’s voice, vision, and advocacy in shaping a future that’s eco-conscious, tech-savvy, and youth-driven.

Every child deserves a healthy start in life. Yet, in Kenya’s vulnerable communities, thousands of children under five lack access to proper nutrition and essential medication. Malnutrition and preventable illnesses continue to steal their potential.

On 29th November 2025, let’s join HESED-Africa at Hyatt Regency, Westlands for an inspiring evening of purpose and generosity at the HESED Africa Charity Dinner. Together, we aim to raise KSh 25 million to transform young lives—providing the nourishment, care, and hope they deserve.

Your presence and support can be the difference between survival and suffering. Let’s come together to rewrite their stories.

I am peace.
I breathe in calm, I exhale tension.
My heart is a sanctuary of serenity.
No matter what surrounds me, I remain centered.
I choose thoughts that nourish my soul.
I radiate tranquility to all I meet.
Peace is my nature, my power, my truth.

Celebrating Our Youth Mentors' Graduation: A Journey of Empowerment and Impact

Today marks a proud and transformative milestone as our Youth Mentors graduate from a 12-week intensive Trainer of Trainers course on Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights (SRHR), delivered by Seed of Hope Kenya . This journey has been more than a training—it has been a movement toward informed, empowered communities.

Course Overview
Over the past three months, our mentors immersed themselves in a dynamic curriculum designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead SRHR initiatives in schools and communities. The training covered 13 critical thematic areas:

- Understanding Contemporary Youths
- Decision-Making Models & Career Choices
- Sexual & Reproductive Health for Adolescents and Young People
- Human Sexuality and Reproductive Health Issues
- Adolescents, Young People, and Gender
- Drug and Alcohol Abuse
- Link Between Substance Abuse and Health Issues
- Mental Health and Life Skills
- HIV/STIs
- Behavioral Addictions
- Entrepreneurship
- Employability
- Radicalization and Violence Addiction

Skills for Change
This comprehensive training has empowered our mentors with both theoretical knowledge and practical facilitation skills to address SRHR challenges with sensitivity, accuracy, and cultural relevance. They are now equipped to:

- Facilitate open, informed conversations around SRHR
- Support youth in making healthy life and career choices
- Address mental health and substance abuse issues
- Promote gender equity and prevent radicalization
- Foster economic empowerment through entrepreneurship and employability

Looking Ahead: Measuring Impact
As our mentors step into their roles as community change agents, a post-training research survey will be conducted to assess the real-world impact of their work. This will help stakeholders:

- Identify areas of thematic strength and gaps
- Refine the SRHR model for future cohorts
- Scale successful strategies across more communities

Final Reflections
Today, we don’t just celebrate a graduation—we celebrate the birth of a new generation of youth leaders, advocates, and educators who will shape healthier, more informed communities. Their journey is just beginning, and the ripple effect of their work will be felt far and wide.

To our graduates: your courage, commitment, and compassion are the seeds of hope our world needs.

Let’s continue to walk this path of transformation—together.
