OSF-EA opened a resource centre in Kangemi in November 2011 to support schools and teachers, improve children's schooling conditions and empower the local community by providing access to information and communication technologies. Of which over 1,701 are text books, plus children's story books, novel, magazines and various other educational resources such as CD ROMS, Videos, DVD's and tapes. Avai

lability of internet, typing, photo-copying, scanning, binding services ICT and computer training. With 23 computers, 9 laptops, 2 copy machines, 2 printers, 1 scanner and 2 trainers students can even take an ICT Diploma with City and Guilds as the governing body at the resource centre. Regular sessions enhancing teachers skills and capacities to offer quality education, appropriate care and understanding for children. Between 90-150 children are fed with a nutritious cup of porridge. Nursery children are fed one meal a day and a ongoing sack project is in place where people can learn how to grow there own vegetables. The centre has 5 rooms which are and can be used for teaching. Several classes come in a week from many different schools to use the facilities in place. We also offer class and extra curriculum programmes. DAYCARE/ECD CENTRE FOR CHILDREN 0-35 MONTHS. The resource centre has a daycare center where working parents can safely and affordable leave there kids while they are at work. The daycare centre provides the children with 1 meal a day, will wash there clothes and gives them a fun day of learning and activities. WATER PROJECT. KRC have installed a water project that collects rainwater and purifies it making it safe to drink. First KRC will rely on sufficient drinkable water to serve KRC staff, children and users. Secondly KRC will be able to distribute safe water to schools and community members at a minimum cost from a distribution kiosk. An income generating project that empowers the women from the community and supports KRC's work. The women's group manufactures beautiful kikoi items sold at KRC and even abroad.l
