Save a Life Organization is a humanitarian media initiative dedicated to connecting patients in need with lifesaving medical support. We believe every story deserves a chance to end in healing. 🌍❤️service to humanity is service to God🙏 The main aim of this organization has been the welfare of street, orphaned and displaced children, disadvantaged families and to motivate the youth. We have a passio

n about the welfare of the street families because they are human beings and they too deserve better standards of living like everyone else. They have a right to better living standards and the right to a better education. Over the years we have visited street families, where we provide them with basic necessities like food, clothing, blankets, sanitary towels for the street mothers and diapers for those who have children. Save a Life has also been focusing on the issues affecting the youth like drug abuse and substance related problems. We educate them on the effects of drug abuse and the impact of drug use to them in their daily and future lives. Be the change you want to see in the world. Call us on: +254 722 214 817

Youth empowerment remains a powerful tool for transforming lives and building stronger communities. Through initiatives such as Save a Life and Partners for Care, young people are equipped with practical skills, mentorship, and personal development opportunities that enable them to become self-reliant and confident individuals. These programs focus on nurturing potential, building leadership capacity, and providing pathways for economic empowerment.

By creating an environment of learning and support, youth are able to rise above challenges and discover their purpose. The collaboration emphasizes not just skills acquisition, but also mindset change—encouraging resilience, responsibility, and community impact. Through such empowerment efforts, young people are not only able to improve their own lives but also become agents of positive change, contributing to the growth and development of society.

In Bombolulu, Mombasa County, Joyce Bendera, a mother of three, is courageously battling a painful and life-altering condition. She first developed a tumour on her cheek in 1993 as a young girl and underwent a successful surgery that restored her life. For many years, she lived normally—until 2023, when the tumour returned, bringing with it not only physical pain but deep emotional challenges that changed her life once again.

As the tumour grew, Joyce faced rejection and isolation. Her husband left her and their children, and the pain and stigma made it impossible for her to work. With no stable source of income, the family now struggles to survive, often going to bed hungry. The harsh words and stares from society have only added to her suffering, making stigma one of her greatest battles.

At her lowest point, overwhelmed by pain and hopelessness, Joyce almost gave up on life. But in the midst of darkness, she found strength in her children and her faith. Their love and her prayers gave her the courage to keep going. Today, Joyce holds onto hope—hoping for healing, restoration, and a chance to rebuild her life and provide a better future for her children.

Stigma in society silently deepens the pain of those already struggling, turning illness or hardship into something people feel ashamed to face openly. Instead of receiving support, many are met with judgment, isolation, and hurtful words that damage their confidence and mental well-being. This fear of being misunderstood often pushes people to hide their condition, delay seeking help, or suffer in silence. Breaking stigma begins with compassion, choosing to understand, to stand with others, and to create a community where no one feels less because of what they are going through.

This story was one of the greatest example🙏🏻From living in the forest alone to starting a family of his own💖

Oscar Mwatua, a 25-year-old from Kiwandani in Kilifi County, is living through a painful and isolating struggle caused by a large tumour on his jaw. The condition has brought him constant pain and discomfort, making even simple daily activities difficult. What should be the prime of his life has instead become a period marked by suffering and uncertainty.

The burden of his illness has deeply affected his personal life. Unable to work and provide, Oscar was left by his wife and daughter, leaving him emotionally broken and alone. Today, he depends entirely on his single mother, who already struggles to care for the rest of the family with very limited means. The little she earns is never enough, and the weight of Oscar’s condition only adds to the hardship they face.

Beyond the physical pain, Oscar also battles stigma and shame. He often covers his face in public to avoid stares and hurtful comments from others. His condition has robbed him of confidence, dignity, and the ability to live freely. Oscar’s story is one of pain and resilience, but also a call for compassion—he deserves a chance to heal, rebuild his life, and restore his hope for the future.
