Update on the counseling with the Refuge kids:

This is Charles, Kennedy and Faith. Faith is already in nursing school and Charles and Kennedy will start university in September.

They received one on one counseling for their next part of their journey and was able to do a video chat with Connie son who graduated university. He was able to give them so pointers on university and talk to them about what it looks like. I am so thankful they are able to have this awesome opportunity to get the counseling and go to university! It is only because of God and because of people like you that open up your hearts to help them succeed in life. ❤️🌍 please continue to keep them all in your prayers this week.

Hello everybody!
These are our amazing Refuge kids! They are all growing up so fast! As y’all know we have 5 of them that graduated high school in November 2025 and 3 of them will finish trade school college this November! And the other 2 will be embarking on University! Praise the Lord.

Please keep them in your prayers this week. We have hired a counselor to do a 5 day plan on getting the older ones ready to be on their on and what that looks like. We want to prepare them for success! We will be guiding them through life situations this week. So please if you think about them …….. pray for them! Hello everyone!

Here is a story about 3 children who lost their father a few years ago. And then a few months ago they lost the mother. My heart hurts for them. These are the types of children that are vulnerable to many things , for the girl s*x trafficking would be high on the list. For the boys , street life and drugs. Fortunately, the family attends Pastor Lucy’s church in Kenya and she bought this to my attention and we works out a solution. The children are currently living with the grandparents, Praise the Lord! But they can not afford to pay for schooling. As you know schools are not free in Kenya. We helped get them caught up on their school fees and they will be due again soon. Here is the names of the children and ages:

David - age 19
Gabriel - age 14
Vanessa - age 4

Dwayne and I decided we would sponsor David through a 18 month course of Vetch school to learn a trade. This will help him succeed in life and hopefully help his siblings some.

Gabriel and Little Miss Vanessa will need help with their school fees, I believe $50 a month would be helpful to meet their needs. Can you consider praying and seeing about helping them through this life’s journey? You can write letters to them and encourage them and please please keep them in your prayers! This is Charles on the left and Kennedy on the right. Please keep these two young men in your prayers as they embark on their new journey in life. They are the first of the Refuge kids to finish High school and then be accepted in University in Kenya! Wow…… this is really a big deal for them and us. Pray that they learn as much as they can, for safety, for wisdom, and they stay focused on their studies. Also pray for their health! Pray for our staff and our ministry team here in the states as we work together and navigate through University! 🌍

These two young men do have sponsors, but things always come up in school fees and other things. So any help would be amazing!

Today Pastor Lucy took the 3 girls for a celebration meal for the exams they took and all the hard work they are doing! She took them to eat pizza and get a Fanta passion fruit soda 🥰 I was able to do a video chat with the girls and oh my I’m so proud of them! This was the very first time they ate pizza…….. yes that’s right first time for pizza and they loved it so much! 🌍❤️🌍they were ALL SMILES!
Our first rescue girl expressed to me that she loves her new life and never wants to go back there. She gives God all the glory. She wants to help others girls get out too. She said God will use her testimony to reach others for Jesus Christ! I believe this with all my heart. If y’all could have seen her where she was and then compared it to today……. It is only because of Jesus Christ doing a work in her life. Praise be to our Lord and savior for ALL that He is doing!

Again thank you for prayers and continued prayers for the young ladies. And thank you for all the financial support as well. Our ministry team is just in awe at what the Lord is doing

Update on the girls that we are empowering:
All three are doing good. The girls who have learned to sew are doing a fabulous job! The pictures below are the thing they made! 🥰
Please pray for all 3 girls this Friday they will be taking exams for the classes. Thank everyone who supports them and prays for them.

This is Brenda she has been with us since she was 6 years old. She has 2 older sisters that are with us also. We are still in need of a monthly sponsor for Brenda. Her previous sponsor is unable to sponsor her at this time. $65 a month will go a long way for her. It will help with her school fees, food on the table and any unexpected needs that come up. School in Kenya is not free.
