Spot lighting Kevin today from the Refuge.

Kevin is pursuing Automotive Engineering(Mechanic)
College: KIPS College.
He is completing his first semesters of 3 months he still have 6 months to complete his course which lasts for 9months.
He will be graduating end of March next year year of 2026.

Can you keep Kevin in your prayers? Pray that the Lord continue to direct his steps and to bring the funds in to continue his education. We thank the Lord this far for what He is doing.

This is our Refuge kids! We have officially embarked on University! Wow! Kennedy has started his first day of University! Please keep him in your prayers and us lol !
Also we have Charles that has started University! The last group of is Charles! It’s so hard to believe they have made it this far! It is only by the grace of God and faithful sponsors! Please keep Charles in your prayers!

The next picture is the younger kids that are in elementary through high school! We had a school break all of the month of August and now they are back in school. We have gotten all their school supplies that they need for the next term! School for this year officially ends in November! Can you please keep them and us in your prayers ?

Updated on the counseling for the Refuge children!

Everything went very well and the kids that will soon be exiting the program will be better prepared! We will be doing counseling sessions with our children at least 3 times a year or more as needed. We want them to be prepared for real life experiences.

As Connie was there counseling them one of of kids had a birthday “ Dorice “ yay 🎂🎉 so they bought a cake and made a cake for her birthday and celebrated her on her special day!

Glory be to our Lord and savior for all He is doing and thank you who have lifted them up in your prayers and supported us financially. Togetherness makes us stronger and able to do the things that need to be done! ❤️🌍

Update on the counseling with the Refuge kids:

This is Charles, Kennedy and Faith. Faith is already in nursing school and Charles and Kennedy will start university in September.

They received one on one counseling for their next part of their journey and was able to do a video chat with Connie son who graduated university. He was able to give them so pointers on university and talk to them about what it looks like. I am so thankful they are able to have this awesome opportunity to get the counseling and go to university! It is only because of God and because of people like you that open up your hearts to help them succeed in life. ❤️🌍 please continue to keep them all in your prayers this week.

Hello everybody!
These are our amazing Refuge kids! They are all growing up so fast! As y’all know we have 5 of them that graduated high school in November 2025 and 3 of them will finish trade school college this November! And the other 2 will be embarking on University! Praise the Lord.

Please keep them in your prayers this week. We have hired a counselor to do a 5 day plan on getting the older ones ready to be on their on and what that looks like. We want to prepare them for success! We will be guiding them through life situations this week. So please if you think about them …….. pray for them! Hello everyone!

Here is a story about 3 children who lost their father a few years ago. And then a few months ago they lost the mother. My heart hurts for them. These are the types of children that are vulnerable to many things , for the girl s*x trafficking would be high on the list. For the boys , street life and drugs. Fortunately, the family attends Pastor Lucy’s church in Kenya and she bought this to my attention and we works out a solution. The children are currently living with the grandparents, Praise the Lord! But they can not afford to pay for schooling. As you know schools are not free in Kenya. We helped get them caught up on their school fees and they will be due again soon. Here is the names of the children and ages:

David - age 19
Gabriel - age 14
Vanessa - age 4

Dwayne and I decided we would sponsor David through a 18 month course of Vetch school to learn a trade. This will help him succeed in life and hopefully help his siblings some.

Gabriel and Little Miss Vanessa will need help with their school fees, I believe $50 a month would be helpful to meet their needs. Can you consider praying and seeing about helping them through this life’s journey? You can write letters to them and encourage them and please please keep them in your prayers! If anyone is interested in sponsoring these children you can message me on Facebook messenger and I can tell you different ways you can send support. We do have a PayPal link on our page.
