We are a new society representing all passengers in the county of Nairobi, and we look forward to working with you to create a healthier, inclusive and more sustainable transport sector in Nairobi. The Nairobi Passengers Association as a Non-Profit making association came to birth as a result of vices as observed and evident within the Nairobi City County’s transport system. It has and is currentl
y observed, that the welfare of the Nairobi Passengers, is an issue that if at all had been addressed in the past, has never been taken seriously. Despite numerous complaints and evident struggles of and by the passengers, and the possible legal frameworks provided for in the Laws of Kenya, there still exists a chasm between what should be done in regards to the passengers quest for a just, conducive and a passengers centered transport system and what is currently happening in Nairobi as a county. This association is an open membership initiative that looks forward to address the every bitter issues that punctuates the life of the passengers on a day to day basis and is open to link with like minded organizations and Transport authorities within and out of the Nairobi County. NaPA is concerned with the traveler, the transport stakeholders and the County Transport Systems.
