Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organization (MYWO) Our main goal is to improve and enhance the social economic status of all women in our beloved Country Kenya.

Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organization (MYWO), a vibrant and innovative organization was born in 1952 at the height of the struggle for independence. It pledged to working tirelessly in improving the homesteads and families of the African women by helping them to become socially and economically empowered. From the beginning of it's inception, MYMO has had programs that have been a great attraction to

women who on numerous occasions have been charged with the responsibility of maintaining the well being of their families under very difficult and unbecoming conditions. MYWO has grown in leaps and bounds from a tiny outfit to a huge organization, becoming the largest women organization in Kenya.
