ICY AFRICA Mobilizing,connecting,training youth for peer to peer Gospel Advancement. The African regional program is headed by Joe Bonga.

International Christian Youth works (ICY) is a fellowship of individual youth workers and youth organizations around the globe working together to train, network and resource youths for leadership mentoring. ICY was founded by Colin, who is now the patron, while David Isgrove oversees the program currently. ICY has partnered with the Springdale College in the UK to ensure God fearing leaders are raised and mentored. Our main partner works are based in the UK, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Nashville TN, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Gabon, Angola, Congo Brazzaville, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique. ICY specializes in training youths in biblical leadership, life skills, sexuality and ethics, personal development, career development, Social enterprises and entrepreneurial skills, community service and development, peace and conflict resolutions, public speaking and as well empowering and mentoring them to be engaged young leaders that would bring the much needed change in their lives and communities. Because of the inherent values in our courses and the participatory and practical approach of value transfer, we believe that this leadership and mentoring program is timely for the youths in your community and institution. It is against such backdrop that we would request for partnership with your organization, group or institution for a one year mentoring program which leads to a diploma in missional leadership in collaboration with the Springdale College in Birmingham UK.

A new movement is rising, and we’re on a mission to reach souls!

​Yesterday, we gathered with the Rongo University ICY Chapter to launch something bigger than ourselves. We introduced the vision of ICY Africa, our core programmes, and our foundational pillars: Youth to Youth and Youth to God. We are building a movement where every youth and teen everywhere hears the gospel from a friend.

​Shoutout to Paul Brian, Lincoln Julu, and our ICY Africa fellows for spearheading this movement.

We are thrilled to announce that our ICY Rongo Chapter, under the leadership of Paul Brian, is officially partnering with Toku Comprehensive School! Following a fruitful meeting with the Headteacher and Senior Teacher, ICY Africa has been granted the opportunity to lead Pastoral Program of Instruction (PPI) services every Friday.

This open door allows Paul and the local team to step into the classroom weekly, sharing the Gospel and mentoring students through our Junior Leaders Program. When we equip young people with faith and purpose, we transform entire communities!

Youth to Community: Influencing local schools and shaping the next generation right where they are.

To God be the glory! Our recent 3-Day Training of Trainers in Ivory Coast brought together passionate leaders ready to master Jesus' approach to disciple-making.

Equipped with the 4 Chairs framework, these trainers are heading back to their local churches and communities not just with knowledge, but with a reproducible strategy to raise the next generation of Kingdom leaders.

Yesterday, Paul Brian, a Gospel Advancing Leader from ICY Africa, had the wonderful opportunity to pitch about ICY Africa during the Christian Union service at Rongo University! Following the service, he connected directly with passionate young leaders to share more about our mission, vision, and how they can get involved. Seeing the hunger for Christ and leadership among university students is truly inspiring.

After three powerful days of training led by Pastor John Achier alongside incredible women and ministry leaders, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. The Lord is doing a mighty work right here in South Sudan, stirring hearts, building capacity, and pouring out His Spirit in ways we will never forget.

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." — Psalm 126:3

This gathering aligns directly with our mission to empower communities through Christ-centered leadership and directly addresses our Discipleship & Leadership Development pillar. By equipping women with biblical truth and practical ministry tools under the guidance of servant leaders like Pastor John Achier, we are advancing our vision to see transformed lives, restored families, and a flourishing Church across South Sudan.
