Kenya continues to face an alarming burden of gender-based violence, with over 30% of women reporting experiences of physical or sexual violence, and thousands of cases recorded each year — many more still going unreported.
As we mark the end of the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV, the fight is far from over. ADRA Kenya remains steadfast in standing with communities to prevent GBV, support survivors, and build safe, dignified, and resilient households beyond the 16 Days.
This commitment was powerfully affirmed through the NATURE+ Project in Kitui County, which marked the close of the campaign in Ikutha and Kanyongongo, Kanyangi Ward, bringing together community members and local leaders to reinforce collective action against GBV.
Together, we continue to work toward communities where everyone lives free from fear and violence.
