ICRC Nairobi Regional Delegation As part of our mission to protect and assist the victims of war and other violence, the ICRC also seeks to ensure respect for their rights.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a neutral, independent organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for people affected by armed conflict and other violence. Our mandate under the Geneva Conventions is to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by armed conflict and other violence and promote the laws that protect victims of war. Community guidelines: As part of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is committed to be accessible to the public and to fostering constructive and respectful exchanges across our digital platforms to ensure transparency, accountability and mutual learning as much as possible.
