Ol Mareeni Trust is a charitable organisation set up to help Africa's wildlife and local communities. Since there has been decrease in tourism, and poor management of areas due to a lack of funding, it is important for people to step in and make a difference before these areas disappear, but also with the objective to make these areas self-sufficient. The primary objective of the Ol Mareeni Trust
is to protect and conserve Africa’s wildlife and their natural habitats, along with preserving the local community and protecting their traditions, as well as allowing them to fully benefit from the wildlife, and therefore having value to them. The ultimate aim is to protect the wildlife, the people, and their livelihoods that depend on this.
