A donation does not move from a drop-off center to a community on its own. Between “donated” and “delivered,” volunteers inspect, sort, organize, and prepare accepted items for their next destination.

Through our In-Kind Gifts Program, clothing, food, hygiene items, school supplies, and medical equipment are prepared for communities, schools, and hospitals in need.

Every box reflects the generosity of the person who gave and the care of the volunteer who prepared it.

The Helping Hand Water for Life Program Manager Brother Yunus Yussuf Ibrahim visited the Western Region of Kenya, covering Kisumu, Mumias and Bungoma Counties, to witness the lasting impact of projects previously implemented by Helping Hand.

From the 2024 school latrine project, which remains strong and continues to serve learners, to the water wells providing communities with clean and safe water, the impact is clear and lasting. 💙

These water projects are helping communities reduce the long and tiring burden of searching for water while providing an easier, safer, and more reliable solution for daily access to this essential resource.

💧 Where there was once a struggle for safe water, there is now hope flowing.

We are proud to have inaugurated a Mega Borehole Project at Masjid Noor, Kaloleni, Kisumu, bringing clean and safe water to a community that has long faced serious water challenges.

In this informal settlement, families have struggled with unreliable water supply, with concerns that some water sources may be contaminated due to leaking sewage pipes. But today, a new chapter begins.

Through this life-changing project, clean water will now serve the school and the mosque, while a dedicated water kiosk will provide safe and accessible water to the wider community.

This is more than a borehole. It is health. It is dignity. It is relief. It is hope.

Every drop represents a life touched and a future made better.
