Through our KES 230M partnership with GIZ and The Maa Trust, 9 winners including Carl Naurori secured seed capital to scale their businesses. As Terry Davidson notes, small businesses are the engine of a successful nation and this moment reflects that power in motion. Energy, innovation and impact in the Mara.
Through our KES 230M Economic Empowerment and Gender Transformation initiative with GIZ and The Maa Trust, The Predators’ Den brought together 140 entrepreneurs with powerful ideas shaping the future of their communities. From this, 9 entrepreneurs secured KES 1.92M in seed funding, plus scholarships and business support to fuel their next level. From pitching to high-stakes selections, our MSME Team led by Eunice Kinyanjui and Janet Mawiyoo brought serious energy, sharp focus, and passion to every decision. And this is just the beginning. We continue to walk this journey with these entrepreneurs as they grow, scale and create lasting impact. Partnership power in action.

When drought threatened wildlife in Nairobi National Park, action couldn’t wait. Through the I&M Foundation, we supported the desilting and rehabilitation of a critical waterhole, restoring a vital water source for wildlife and reducing the risk of human-wildlife conflict.
