Our Palmhouse mentorship session this past Saturday came with the kind of conversations you wish you had heard earlier in life.

Not the usual “I started my business with one chicken…” stories 😂. These were the real ones: career plot twists, unexpected turns, lessons learnt the hard way and those “If I knew this earlier…” moments.
The room was full of curiosity, big dreams and honest conversations, with plenty of laughter, reflection and “Wait… so this is how you go about it?” reactions. 😄
More than just a Saturday session, it was a reminder that one genuine conversation can change how a young person sees their future. ✨

What did KES 31.5 million look like on Friday? It looked like young innovators being celebrated, communities from across Kenya being represented and bold ideas getting the support they need to grow 🚀

At the Young Environmentalists Innovators Challenge, hosted by KCDF in partnership with I&M Foundation, seven youth-led enterprises were awarded funding for innovations tackling waste, water, energy, agriculture and affordable housing.
Friday was more than an awards ceremony, it was a celebration of the creativity, passion and determination of young Kenyans building solutions for tomorrow. 💡
