Empowering the Next Generation of Leadership in Madagascar!
What an incredible evening of sisterhood, learning, and inspiration! I had the absolute pleasure of attending a friendship dinner with the vibrant young women members of the Soroptimist Analamanga Fanilo Club ahead of their exciting and historic charter thisLiva Annick RahajasonSunday 7 June.
A heartfelt thank you to our Best Sister Soro Harilala for hosting such a wonderful dinner and leading an interactive, impactful induction session. Your lived experience and journey serve as a true beacon of inspiration for these emerging young women leaders. It was wonderful to see the energy in the room the group work was fun, deeply engaging, and beautifully guided by your excellent facilitation techniques!
Huge congratulations and Bravo to Liva Annick Rahajason for the flawless organization and tireless efforts toward making this new club charter a reality.
The future of Soroptimist International Africa Federation is bright, resilient, and in incredibly capable hands. Together, we continue to educate, empower, and enable women and girls! 💙


Former la prochaine génération de leaders à Madagascar !

Quelle soirée incroyable de sororité, d'apprentissage et d'inspiration ! J'ai eu l'immense plaisir d'assister à un dîner amical avec les jeunes femmes dynamiques du club Soroptimist Analamanga Fanilo, à la veille de la création de leur charte, un événement historique qui aura lieu ce dimanche 7 juin.

Un grand merci à notre chère sœur Soro Harilala pour avoir organisé ce merveilleux dîner et animé une séance d'intégration interactive et percutante. Ton expérience et ton parcours sont une véritable source d'inspiration pour ces jeunes leaders en devenir. C'était formidable de ressentir l'énergie qui régnait dans la salle ; le travail de groupe était ludique, stimulant et parfaitement encadré par tes excellentes techniques d'animation !

Toutes nos félicitations et bravo à Liva Annick Rahajason pour son organisation impeccable et ses efforts inlassables qui ont permis de concrétiser la création de cette nouvelle charte.

L'avenir de la Fédération Soroptimist International Afrique est prometteur, solide et entre de très bonnes mains. Ensemble, continuons d'éduquer, d'autonomiser et de soutenir les femmes et les filles ! 💙

Our Soroptimist sisterhood in Antananarivo just got a whole lot brighter! We are absolutely thrilled and honored for the warm and vibrant welcome to Mary Muia SIAF President and Judith Apondo, SIAF Director for Extension and Membership as they joins us here in Madagascar. 🇲🇬✈️

From the moment they stepped off the plane, they were wrapped in the true spirit of Malagasy hospitality (Fihavanana) and the undeniable bond of Soroptimist international solidarity. God bless you dear Soroptimists sisters of Madagascar 🇲🇬 for staying up late to meet us on arrival.

Announcing Theresa Lyford as Soroptimist International President Elect, 2028-2029!

It is my pleasure to announce that Theresa Lyford has been appointed President-Elect of Soroptimist International and will serve as President for the 2028–2029 biennium.

Theresa is a familiar and trusted face in our organisation, having served as Federation President of Soroptimist International South East Asia Pacific (2016-2018) and currently serving as SISEAP Company Secretary.

She brings with her a strong professional background in education programme management and legal curriculum oversight at RMIT University. I look forward to working alongside her and am confident that Theresa's experience and dedication will be a real asset to our global mission to educate, enable, and empower all women and girls.
