🌟 Meet Olive Mogire—a seasoned leadership, governance and humanitarian affairs professional with over 20 years of experience across Africa!

From supporting emergency responses at World Vision Kenya, to advancing programmes and partnerships at AGRA, and most recently coordinating regional leadership and humanitarian diplomacy at IFRC, Olive’s journey is defined by service, strategy and impact.

A passionate advocate for good governance and systems-thinking leadership, she holds a BA in Communication–Public Relations and is pursuing a Master’s in Strategic Management.

Beyond the boardroom, Olive enjoys giving back through Rotary, listening to rhumba music and indulging her love for cars. She is also a proud wife and mother of two lovely children. 💫

A seasoned leader with over 20 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors, Mugo has served as Group CEO of Sanlam Kenya, founding Director General of the Kenya Vision 2030 Secretariat and Group MD/CEO of East African Cables.

An Electrical Engineer by training, he holds degrees from MIT and George Washington University and has also studied at Oxford University. 🎓

Recognised as a **Young Global Leader** by the World Economic Forum, Mugo has chaired and served on the boards of several leading organisations, including Lake Turkana Wind Power, M-KOPA, Kenya Biovax Institute, I&M Bank, KEPSA and KAM.

Meet Rotarian Engineer Michael Vallez—4 decades of building stuff, fixing messes, and winning arguments so hard he gets paid to be an expert witness. 💼🏗️

But here’s the plot twist: At 16, he worked on a ranch in Venezuela and saw hunger and desperation up close. Let’s just say it hit harder than a missed project deadline. He realized that when life gives you lemons… people do what they gotta do to survive.

Fast forward: He’s hired thousands of workers and figured out the real secret to breaking poverty? Skills training, baby. Not just handouts—hands-on know-how. 💪

So yeah, he builds more than buildings. He builds futures. And maybe one day, African economies too. 🌍
