It not only devastates the individual suffering from the disease but also ravages the families both psychologically and economically. Alzheimer's & Dementia Organisation Kenya thus helps the caregivers in the following ways:-

1. Creating awareness about the disease
2. Support groups for the caregivers
3. Life coping skills training of the caregivers and their children.
4. Home visits of the affected families
5. Counselling for the affected and their caregivers
