Kenya Girl Guides Association (KGGA) is the national Guiding Organization of Kenya. Founded in 1920, the girls-only organization became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1963. The patron is First Lady of The Republic of Kenya, Rachel Ruto. This is a group for girls and young women and all friends and partners of guiding to network, volunteer and support the guiding movement in Kenya.

A wonderful day of celebration, commitment and new beginnings at Nanyuki Comprehensive School!
The ceremony brought together Brownies, Girl Guides and Rangers who proudly made their Promise and Honour, marking an important milestone in their Guiding journey.
The day began with Colours, followed by a short knowledge test, before the girls gathered for the investiture and enrollment ceremony. The celebrations continued with cake cutting, candle lighting, singing and dancing as the girls celebrated their new titles.

Congratulations to all the newly enrolled and invested members! May your Guiding journey be filled with service, leadership and positive impact.

The KGGA Ranger Guides were invested at Kapsara Senior School, marking an exciting milestone in their Guiding journey.
The ceremony also featured the presentation of the County Cup trophy to the winning patrol during the National Patrol Cup Competition.
With this enrollment, 78 girls have now been enrolled in the county, 52 from Littik School and 26 from Kapsara Senior School.

Ending Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) Run – Meru
The End Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) Run in Meru was a great success!
Our team contributed in different ways, from supporting registration and singing the National Anthem before the flag-off, to being part of the first aid team on standby to support runners when needed.
It was a meaningful experience bringing together community members to raise awareness and take action towards ending Postpartum Haemorrhage. Together, we can help save mothers’ lives.

Today, Girl Guides joined over 15,000 people from different Counties in the 3rd International Run For Her at Ulinzi Sports Complex, standing together to raise awareness and take action to end Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH).
Alongside thousands of participants in Kenya and across the globe, our Guides took every step as a statement for safer motherhood and saving mothers’ lives.

CONGRATULATIONS, NANCY ENGOKE!

We are delighted to celebrate one of our own, Nancy Engoke, Trefoil Guild National Assistant Secretary, on her election as Vice President of the ISGF Africa Region.
This is an incredible achievement and a proud moment for the Kenya Girl Guides Association and the Trefoil Guild.
