St. Heidi is a nonprofit organization committed to providing a strong foundation in early childhood education in Siaya, Kenya. We are seeking a volunteer to support a range of activities, including classroom assistance, errands, fundraising, and administrative tasks.

If you are passionate about community development—especially supporting young children—and have some time starting January 2026, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. The volunteer commitment is approximately 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. You will also have plenty of time to experience and enjoy the vibrant local culture and traditions.

Her smile has always been her superpower. Even when life threw her the toughest battles, Sitawa Kisiangani never stopped smiling, never stopped encouraging, never stopped carrying others along with her. That smile hides so many struggles but it also carries unmatched courage.

Sitawa is more than a cancer warrior she’s a light. A teacher. A single mother. An ambassador of hope. She has walked into hospital rooms and spoken life into other patients when her own body was aching. She has given strength where she herself was running on empty. That’s the kind of heart we are fighting for. ❤️

But behind the smile is a heavy load medical bills that don’t pause, treatments that can’t wait, and the reality of a medical cover that doesn’t stretch far enough. Now, Sitawa urgently needs to travel to Nairobi for her treatment.

This time, it’s our turn to carry her the way she has carried others. Let’s ease her burden, let’s fight beside her. Every shilling, every share, every prayer matters.
