Condolence Message from the All Africa Flying Disc Federation (AAFDF) 🕊️

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Quintos, a cherished partner and friend of our Federation.

Quintos was more than a colleague—she was a pillar of support in the growth of Ultimate Frisbee, especially beach ultimate across Africa. Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering belief in the Spirit of the Game inspired countless athletes and leaders within our community.

Her absence leaves a deep void, but her legacy of service and love for the sport will continue to guide us.

We place her in our prayers and ask God to grant her soul eternal peace.
She will be dearly missed, but forever remembered.

Last weekend, the Flying Disc community gathered in Arusha for the Kilimanjaro Ultimate Frisbee Grass Tournament.
President Ronny Ochoro of the All Africa Flying Disc Federation (AAFDF) shared a powerful message celebrating Tanzania’s leadership and the spirit of unity driving Flying Disc across Africa.

His address reminded us that the sport’s growth is not only about competition—it’s about community, inclusivity, and opportunity for African athletes to shine globally.

“Play hard, play fair, and let the Spirit of the Game guide us all.”

Growing Disc in Kampala Uganda

AAFDF celebrates the amazing outreach by Impala Frisbee Club, bringing flying disc to youth in Kampala’s slums. This grassroots effort is more than sport — it’s teamwork, resilience, and hope.

Their work reflects AAFDF - WFDF’s global plan: expanding youth opportunities, promoting inclusivity, and building sustainable pathways for disc sports everywhere.

We salute Impala Frisbee Club for showing how flying disc can uplift communities and inspire the next generation across Africa.
