Is the technology survivors reach for actually safe for them?

That’s the question UNFPA Kenya’s MASS Programme has spent months examining — rigorously, structurally, with evidence. Today they share the findings from Kenya’s first assessment of the national GBV helpline 1195 against safe and ethical technology standards.

It’s a question we don’t get to answer on behalf of survivors. We only get to keep asking it, honestly, about everything we build and every system we’re part of.
