Our Story

CRIME SI POA [CSP] alerts and actively disseminates crime trends and timely crime related information to the public on how to create crime free environments and live crime-free lives. It furthermore seeks full engagement of the public in general and the youth in particular in its efforts to make Kenya safer by giving accurate and verifiable crime updates as and when they happen both in Kenya and worldwide. It is a perfect and efficacious active platform for citizen participation in crime eradication in the country. We do these with our partner organization, CRIME WATCH KENYA The primary purpose of CRIME SI POA is to vigorously promote peace and cohesion as well as crime prevention by building trust and synergies between the citizenry and law enforcement agencies for pro-active and faster response to crime concerns raised by members of the public. CSP mobilizes citizen responsibility and participation in making Kenya safer to reduce crime, anti-social behavior and other activities that threaten peace by focusing on, and discouraging vulnerable youth and the public from engaging in criminal activities, positively engaging youths who have denounced bad behaviors and by facilitating rehabilitation. In doing so, it is our fervent belief that CRIME SI POA will be embraced by all as we uphold the organization’s credo of “Working for a safer Kenya”. As a member of this group, you join like-minded people whose principle motivation is the upholding of the rule of the law and respect of human rights by all across the divide. This forum gives the people an opportunity to effect change in issues affecting their security in a diplomatic manner, while at the same time networking and sharing experiences. Criminals live in our midst. We know them but we fear naming them because they are our friends, relatives or all powerful in our neighborhoods. We think that we help them by keeping silent when it that very silence that is killing us, making our daughters and wives be sexually assaulted and our kids become drug zombies. This need not be so if everyone played their roles, even if anonymously. We do our level best to forewarn you on how to avoid crime hot spots as well as alert you on options available to you as a responsible peace loving person. CRIME SI POA supports and helps in creating awareness on child rights, Human rights, Women Rights and gender based violence while sharing updates from like minded organizations. We certainly expect and will much appreciate active participation and factual updates from all our members while reserving the right to delist anyone who breaches our core principals by posting racist, tribal, alarmist and false reports, gender insensitive, pornographic or political comments on the page. CRIME SI POA is open to everybody committed to making Kenya safer through active citizen responsibility.
