Education for Africa (EFA) was honored to participate in the two-day Northern Youth Dialogue Forum convened by SOSOYO and the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) under the theme:
“Strengthening Peace, Governance and Regional Security through Inclusive Community Action and Regional Cooperation.”
The forum brought together youth leaders, civil society organizations, government institutions, and development partners for meaningful discussions on peacebuilding, governance, accountability, inclusion, and the role of young people in shaping the future of our region.
We were particularly encouraged by the participation of key stakeholders, including Hon. Josphat Lowoi OGW, Secretary and Head of the Minorities and Marginalized Affairs Unit (MMAU) in the Executive Office of the President, alongside representatives from EACC, NCIC, IPOA, ORPP, and other institutions committed to promoting good governance and social cohesion.
As Education for Africa, we believe that empowering young people with knowledge, leadership skills, and civic awareness is essential for building peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous communities. The conversations and networks established during these two days will contribute significantly to advancing youth-led solutions to the challenges facing Northern Kenya.
We thank the organizers and all participants for creating a platform that amplifies youth voices and promotes constructive dialogue.
