No girl should have to choose between her education and her period.

Many girls miss school during their menstrual cycle because they lack access to proper feminine hygiene products. This absenteeism can lead to poor academic performance, low self-esteem, and even school dropouts.

At OLCAP, we are committed to changing this reality. Recently, we donated reusable sanitary pads to 111 girls from Malinya Primary School and Shirumba Primary School, helping them stay in school, learn with confidence, and pursue their dreams without interruption.

Together, we can break barriers, keep girls in classrooms, and build a brighter future for our communities.

Empower a girl. Educate a nation.

We’re proud to celebrate the graduation of five young women at OLCAP who have completed their tailoring training. They can now create and sell their own products, building income to support themselves, their children, and their families.

Congratulations on this achievement and your next chapter!

A big thank you to iMPACT Direct, Overal Stichting, and Wierda Baas for partnering with OLCAP to make this possible.

At OLCAP, we're dedicated to empowering youth to reach their full potential. Through our mentorship program, we provide the support and tools to help young people grow personally, academically, and spiritually, while confidently facing life's challenges.

During mission week in Lukanji, we mentored students across 5 primary and 1 secondary school, helping them make positive choices and build strong character.

We tackled challenges like peer pressure, drug abuse, and teenage pregnancy, sharing real-life advice to guide them toward a brighter future.

OLCAP’s recent two-day medical camp delivered vital healthcare to the community, making an impact where it’s needed most.

A big thank you to the Deliverance Church International - Umoja team for partnering with us to make this initiative a success. 🙌

On March 20–21, OLCAP joined hands with Deliverance Church International - Umoja to host a medical camp in Lukanji and Isulu, bringing vital care, hope, and smiles to those who need it most.

Together, we’re changing lives—one person at a time.

Last week week we had a great time in our community.

We held varied activities which included door-to-door Evangelism (Thursday-Saturday), crusade (Thursday-Saturday), free medical camps (Friday and Saturday), mentorship in schools (Thursday), Sunday School training (Friday and Saturday) and games for kids (bouncing castle, football etc)

Seeing over 760 people give their lives to Christ was a powerful testament to the work put in by the team.

Seventy missionaries from Deliverance Church International in Umoja, Nsirobi and 67 from Kaimosi National Polytechnic University led the exercise at the Lukanji Community Church.

We give God all the glory for enabling us plan and undertake the 4-day Mission successfully.

To Him alone be all the glory and honour.

1 John 5:4
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

We had a wonderful service at our Lukanji Church yesterday with Dr. Linda blessing us with a strong message on serving God. "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain -
1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)

A year ago: no job, no income, no hope.
Today: skilled, employed, and helping her community.

Christine’s life changed through OLCAP’s tailoring project with iMPACT Direct—training that has now empowered five women to earn an income.
