Western Kenya is region of the country reach of many talents and fortunes.Look at sports ,academics,cultural heritage,
high positions both politically and economically being held by people from Western Kenya ,yet as a region we are still languishing in poverty and unemployment.The youth in specific have been left behind and to some extend neglected yet they are the generation of tomorrow Lets unde
rstand very well that this is not about the Luhya community but the whole communities that live in Western Kenya.However poverty in western Kenya is something that we can put a blind eye to.We the youth have the ability to change western both socially,economically,socioeconomically and politically.Lets not wait for our Fathers who have done nothing or less about it,the TIME is now and we are the CHANGE.Its time to realize that Jumping at several small opportunities may get us there more quickly than waiting for one big one to come along.This is the call for the WESTERN YOUTH EMPOWERMENT ASSOCIATION.
