PLANT YOUR AGE | COME BACK AND CHECK
On 14th September, the Green Africa Foundation brought together partners, environmental champions and PYA members to celebrate the growing movement of Plant Your Age turning personal milestones into a lasting commitment to nature. Under the theme My age- My trees - My legacy.
Led by Dr. Kalua Green the event marked an important milestone with the launch of the PYA Web Application, a digital platform designed to help PYA members:
-Make their personal commitment to plant trees
-Record and track where trees are planted
-Monitor tree growth and progress towards maturity
-Track and demonstrate the environmental impact of their commitment
Dr. Isaac Kalua Green also challenged Kenyans through his book, Come Back and Check, to go beyond planting trees—to return, check and take responsibility for their progress.
Planting a tree is only the beginning. The real commitment is coming back to check, nurture and ensure that the tree grows to maturity.
Let us embrace accountability for every tree we plant and build a culture where we don't just count trees—we grow them.
Plant Your Age. Come Back and Check. Grow the Legacy.
