Yesterday we had the privilege of conducting a reusable pads distribution session at Ruben Secondary School, reaching and supporting young girls with a resource that is essential to their health, dignity, and education.

We extend our deepest appreciation to E3 Kenya for their unwavering commitment to empowering girls and ensuring that no student misses out on learning because of a lack of menstrual hygiene products. Your generosity continues to restore hope, protect the dignity of our girls, and create opportunities for them to thrive both in and outside the classroom.

At Makongo Compassion Centre, we are proud to partner with organizations that genuinely care about transforming lives. Together, we are not just distributing pads—we are investing in confidence, promoting menstrual health awareness, and helping keep girls in school.

To the students and the administration of Ruben Secondary School, thank you for the warm welcome and for embracing this important initiative.

A special thank you once again to E3 Kenya, Inc. Your impact is visible, your support is invaluable, and your dedication to girls' education and well-being is changing lives one school at a time. We look forward to continuing this journey together.

Yesterday, we successfully marked World Menstrual Hygiene Day through a meaningful and impactful community engagement program.

The day began with the handing over of toilets to the students of Mukuru Transformers Senior Secondary Mukuru Transformers secondary school, installed by team fully sponsored by E3 Kenya, Inc. a step that will greatly contribute towards improving sanitation, dignity, and a conducive learning environment for students, especially girls.

We then proceeded to Ruben Centre Main Hall, where we held an interactive session on proper menstrual hygiene management. The session created a safe space for learning, discussion, and awareness, followed by the distribution of reusable sanitary pads to support girls in managing their menstrual health with dignity and confidence.

We were also privileged to have a live radio session at Ruben FM, which helped amplify the conversation around menstrual hygiene, break stigma, and educate the wider community on the importance of menstrual health and dignity for girls and women.

This event reminded us of the importance of creating awareness, promoting menstrual health education, and ensuring that every girl has access to the resources and support she needs to stay in school and thrive.

We were honored to have the presence and support of Community Health Promoters, educators, and other stakeholders who contributed greatly to the success of the day.

Special appreciation to Onfon Mobile for supporting this important community initiative and for sending a representative David Likor to stand with us during the event. Your contribution and commitment towards community empowerment and social impact truly made a difference, and we deeply value your support in creating positive change in the lives of young people.

We also sincerely appreciate the presence of the Indiana University students fraternity together with their two professors, Prof. Jerono P Rotich and Prof. Priscilla whose words of encouragement and inspiration greatly motivated and empowered the learners during the session.

Your support continues to create lasting impact in our communities. Together, we are restoring dignity, empowering young people, and building a more informed and supportive society.

At Makongo Compassion Centre, our hearts are filled with gratitude and hope as we reflect on the journey we have taken since the beginning of this year. What started as a simple yet powerful idea has grown into a life-changing initiative—together, we have proudly produced over 1,000 reusable sanitary pads for girls in our community. Each pad represents dignity restored, confidence renewed, and a girl empowered to show up fully in school and in life.
This impact would not have been possible without the unwavering support of E3 Kenya, Inc. From sourcing fabrics, to supporting the incredible work of our dedicated sewers, to ensuring the pads reach the girls who need them most—your generosity has touched lives in ways words can hardly express. You have not just funded a project; you have ignited hope, restored dignity, and created opportunity.

To our amazing team of sewers, thank you for pouring your skill, time, and love into every piece you create. You are the heartbeat of this initiative. And to the girls we serve, you inspire us every day—you remind us why this work matters.

As we celebrate this milestone, we know this is only the beginning. There are still many more girls who need this support, many more stories waiting to be changed. We warmly invite individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to come on board and partner with us through E3 Kenya to expand this impact even further. Together, we can reach more girls, break more barriers, and build a future where no girl is held back because of her period.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this mission. 💛

✨ SoCreative e-Learning Program – In Partnership with the Council ✨

We are proud to share that the SoCreative e-Learning Program at Makongo Compassion Centre has been successful and is still ongoing!

This transformative training is equipping our young creatives with practical knowledge and real-world skills needed to thrive in today’s creative economy. The program covers powerful modules including:

📌 Launching Your Creative Enterprise
📌 Growing Your Creative Enterprise
📌 Social Impact Through Entrepreneurship
📌 Creative Economy Policy

Through these modules, our students are not only learning how to start and grow sustainable creative ventures, but also understanding how creativity connects to social change and policy development.

We are implementing a blended learning approach — some students participate online, while others attend sessions physically at our centre — ensuring flexibility and inclusion for all.

We sincerely commend and appreciate the British Council British Council Kenya for this impactful initiative that continues to empower young people and strengthen the creative ecosystem within our community.

The journey continues, and the impact is growing! 💻✨

✨ OUR FIRST PAD DISTRIBUTION! ✨

Saturday, February 7th, 2026, marked a beautiful milestone as we carried out distribution of reusable sanitary pads. The joy and confidence on the girls’ faces said it all 💖

What made this moment truly special is that the pads were locally made at our Centre, Makongo Compassion Centre. Trained women from our community came together to create high-quality, reusable pads, strengthening local solutions and supporting girls with products made by their own community, for their own community.

This project was community-driven from start to finish. The girls proudly received the pads, knowing they were produced right here at home — a powerful reminder of what can happen when communities lead their own change.

🔥 Special Recognition to Our Donors – Kenya, Inc. led by Channa Beth Butcher! 🔥
E3 Kenya, Inc. played a key role in making this possible by supporting the training of the women in making pads, providing fabrics, and ensuring fair compensation throughout the process. Your belief in community-led solutions made this impact achievable, and we are deeply grateful 🙏🏽💛

This is more than a distribution.
It’s dignity.
It’s sustainability.
It’s community power.

And this is only the beginning ✨💪🏽

Today, we take a moment to sincerely appreciate Kenya Team led by Channa Beth Butcher for their continued support and strong partnership. They are truly living up to their commitment of Encouraging, Engaging and Empowering Kenyan girls.

Through their consistent support for the production of reusable sanitary pads, Kenya, Inc. is creating impact on multiple levels. The sewers involved in making the pads are fairly compensated, gaining dignity and sustainable income, while the girls who receive the pads are supported to stay in school with confidence and dignity.

Last year 2025, at our centre Makongo Compassion Centre, we produced pads for more than 100 girls, and this year we are excited and hopeful to double—and even triple—this impact. This is what meaningful partnership looks like: action, consistency, and lives transformed.

Thank you, E3 Kenya, and thank you to everyone who continues to take part in making this possible. Together, we are changing stories and building a better future for our girls. 💙✨
