Meet Sanau ❤️🇰🇪!

She is currently a PP1 student at Kimelok Hope Center. She is a joyful and eager learner who enjoys participating in classroom activities. Her favorite subject is math and she loves playing with her friends at school. Her favorite color is pink.

Sanau’s father earns a living as a herdsman, while her mother is a housewife. At home, Sanau helps her family by collecting small pieces of firewood and keeping the compound clean.

She is still in need of a sponsor to help sustain her education in Kimelok. Link is in the comments below if you are interested in supporting her.

What a view!!!

After exploring the wildlife at Nairobi National Park, the adventure continued to the rooftop of the Kenyatta International Convention Center where the learners took in breathtaking panoramic views of Nairobi City.

For most of them, this was their first time visiting Nairobi. They were able to see just how big and beautiful their country is. 🇰🇪❤️

A huge thank you to the Kimelok community, teachers, and leaders for making this experience possible.

Today was a day our 5th and 6th grade learners will never forget! ❤️

Today was their very first educational trip to Nairobi. They had the opportunity to visit Nairobi National Park, where they experienced the wonder of seeing some of Kenya’s amazing wildlife up and close.

What an unforgettable day of learning, discovery, and joy! 🦁🦏🐊🇰🇪❤️

When we talk about planting a church in Kenya, we’re talking about so much more than just four walls and a roof. We’re planting the very heart of a community! ❤️

A church at one of our Hope Centers is where everything comes together. It’s where kids get a Christian education, families find clean water, and the sick find medical care. But most importantly, it’s a place where the message of Jesus brings lasting hope to every home. 🙏✨

Our goal is always to empower local leaders so they can eventually take 100% control of their own community’s growth. It’s about sustainable change, led by the people who know their neighbors best.

Will you help us plant more of these life-giving centers? By sponsoring a church-planting pastor, you’re not just supporting one person: you’re uplifting an entire village.

You can help by sponsoring one the pastors and church planters already hard at work. 🌱🙌

There is something so special about watching a local leader step into their calling! 🙌✨

At Helping Kenya Kids, we believe that the best way to see a community truly thrive is by equipping those who are already right there on the ground. That’s why we’re so passionate about Pastor Training and church planting!

By providing local leaders with the training and resources they need, we’re helping plant more than just buildings: we’re planting centers of hope, healing, and faith. These pastors are the hands and feet of Jesus, shepherding their neighbors through every high and low. 🇰🇪❤️

Here’s what your support does:
✅ Provides biblical training for local leaders
✅ Helps establish new Hope Centers and churches
✅ Empowers communities to lead themselves with dignity

Best of all? 100% of every single dollar you donate goes directly to these efforts in Kenya. No overhead, just pure impact.

Will you stand with these incredible leaders today?

From delivery truck to classroom 🚚➡️📚

This week at Kimelok Hope Center School, new desks were delivered for Grades 1–6: and our team paused to pray over every desk before students put them to use. What a beautiful reminder that God is providing the tools these kids need to learn and grow!

Here’s what’s now in classrooms:
• Lecture-style desks (Grades 1–3)
• Locker-style desks (Grades 4–6)
• New teachers’ desks for each classroom

We’re almost finished… but we still need tables + chairs for the last two classrooms: Preschool & Kindergarten.

Want to help us complete the project? Give here: https://www.supporthelpingkenyakids.org/projects/school-furniture

Thank you for standing with these students: your support is building hope, one classroom at a time. ❤️
