Volunteers for Rural Kenya (VFRK) is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with rural villages and capacity-building programs to support the development of sustainable solutions to community challenges. VFRK's mission is to provide clothing, food, clean water, and supplies to those in need and to help them find sustainable ways to improve their lives. We want to educate, empower, and enlighten our rural communities about the issues of hunger. VFRK believes that access to clothing, food, and clean water are basic human rights. We also believe that God requires us to help those in need (St. Besides, VFRK believes that by taking the focus off our ourselves and turning it towards others, God will bless us abundantly (Proverbs 22:9). VFRK relies entirely on support and donations from our partners and is thankful for the tremendous support that we receive from caring individuals, local and global organizations, and the VFRK team of volunteers. VFRK's goal is simple – to simply provide necessities to those in need. Help us accomplish our goal by donating today.

Our projects focus on rural areas and communities living in remote areas, volunteering with us will help you connect with people from these areas, learn about their culture, and be able to interact with them. We're still looking for donors who are willing and able to donate and partner with us in our mission of supporting vulnerable people in rural areas here in Kenya.

Our current activities are solely supported by members of the Organization and aren't enough to fully support the volunteering missions. It's only after the establishment of external donations and partnerships that we'll be able to support volunteering missions.

If you are interested in joining our mission and contributing to this cause, we would be honoured to have your support. You can send your donations as low as $1 to our PayPal account: [email protected]

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated and help us achieve our goal of making a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate.

Our projects focus on rural areas and communities living in remote areas, volunteering with us will help you connect with people from these areas, learn about their culture, and be able to create video or photo content. I would like to inform you that we're still looking for other donors who are willing and able to donate and partner with us in our mission of supporting vulnerable people in rural areas here in Kenya.

Our current activities are solely supported by members of the Organization and aren't enough to fully support the volunteering missions. It's only after the establishment of external donations and partnerships that we'll be able to support volunteering missions.

Therefore, we normally require our external volunteers to facilitate their accommodations (but some can be provided in local areas), meals, transfers, and other expenses. Because the project is young, and we are still seeking funding for recurring costs, we might only be able to provide free accommodation for volunteers.
