FULL TIME:

Nairobi Prison 3 - 0 Mountain Movers Women Soccer

A tough one on the road, but we leave with our heads high.

Last season this same fixture ended 9:0. Today we fought, we defended, we believed until the final whistle. That is growth.

Three matches played, we are still searching for our first point, but we are not broken. We are learning.

We will keep giving our all. At the right time, we will start moving.

To our fans: Thank you for standing with us. To our girls: Thank you for never giving up.

We keep moving.

💞💞SHE IS A MOTHER. SHE IS A KEEPER. SHE IS OUR GAME CHANGER.

🙌🙌Meet our goalkeeper👌

For the past two matches she has stood between the posts and proved one thing: Motherhood is not the end of her story. It is part of her strength.

She comes to training, she shows up for her child, and she shows up for the team. She does not let anyone define her future for her.

We are proud of you, our wall. Our safe hands. Our inspiration.

Keepers like her don't just save goals, they save futures.

🩷🩷🩷 Over the weekend we had a chance to celebrate the international day of a girl child in Kabiro and we had visitors from CREAW.

👭They encouraged young girls and young mothers at Kabiro to be proud of themselves and not to allow social stereotype to affect their capabilities.

🫶Through the interaction session we had, the girls were able to understand that;

✍️She is not a bride. She is a leader. She is a footballer. She is the future

✍️ We say NO to child marriage. We say YES to education, to sports, to her dreams.

❣️ what a day it was!😘

Thank you CREAW - Centre for Rights Education and Awareness for standing with the girl child.

~Our first match Under NRB West Women Regional League 2026/2027 Season.

Mountain Movers Women Soccer 0: NYS 1

Although the match ended in a 1: 0 defeat to NYS, our girls demonstrated a great fight, team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the game.

We are not giving up yet! We have a whole Mountain of 15 teams to move this season and we are confident we must move forward.

We Empower. Educate and Inspire our future generation through sports.
