The Art of Manhood
Being born male is biology; becoming a man is discipline. Maleness is automatic. Manhood is earned—through character, responsibility, and intentional growth.
True manhood is a trained spirit, equipped to function responsibly in every role you carry. A man must unite maleness with manhood for proper alignment and effectiveness. That process requires mentorship—learning how to lead rightly, grow consistently, and never quit.
Ask yourself the hard questions:
How do you use your strength—do you injure or heal? Distort or build?
Do you honor responsibility over impulse, needs over unnecessary expenses?
How do you handle pressure, conflict, and decision-making?
What images and influences are you feeding your soul?
The Art of Manhood demands tact—the wisdom to navigate complex situations with clarity and courage. It calls for godly skills and a renewed mindset.
Practice the arts that form strong men:
The Art of Silence — set a guard over your mouth. Be angry, yet do not sin (Proverbs 29:11).
The Art of Calmness and Self-Control — better to rule your spirit than take a city (Proverbs 16:32).
The Art of Soft Words — avoid unnecessary fights; overlook faults. Soft words turn down anger.
The Art of Timing and Discretion — choose wisely; freedom requires sound judgment.
The Art of Trust — Trust the Lord even when you abound or even in want.
