Each year, we’re honored to welcome partners who believe in the power of collaboration to create meaningful impact. Through the Warriors for Good Summit, Exhibition, and Awards, our partners help us create spaces for conversation, learning, connection, recognition, and action.

We’re building a growing Warriors for Good Network — bringing together partners, sponsors, judges, participants, past award winners, and perhaps future Warriors too!

If you or your organization shares our vision and is ready to connect, collaborate, and scale impact, we’d love to welcome you to the network.

📩 For partnership opportunities, contact Seth Jaoko, Executive Director & Partnerships Development Coordinator, at [email protected].

Join us in building a collaborative community of purpose-driven people and organizations working to shape a better future.

to our very first Social Impact in Action Forum in 2023, where Dr. Isaac Kalua Green inspired us with a powerful message on living a life of purpose and impact.

He reminded us that meaningful change begins with the values we choose to live by — kindness, responsibility, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental stewardship. His words still resonate today: "Be kind to yourself, kind to others, and kind to the environment."

Dr. Kalua also challenged us to hold onto the spirit of Re-linking—connecting with people, learning from one another, and creating solutions that benefit our communities and the world. His MPR philosophy remains timeless:

✅ Make mistakes, but never repeat them.

✅ Be a Problem Solver.

✅ Show Respect for others.

What began as the Social Impact in Action Forum has since evolved into the Warriors for Good Awards, Warriors for Good Summit & Exhibition, and the Warriors for Good Series—continuing our mission of connecting purpose-driven leaders and accelerating collective impact.

His inspiring journey is captured in his book, Green for Life: From Brokenness to Boldness. Order your copy at https://greenforlife.africa/

At the Warriors for Good Summit, Esther Mutuma shared how the persistent North-South Divide pushed her to found Boreka Group to address Global Environmental Inequities by linking the global agenda to local action.

'It is one thing to sit and look at what's not working; it's another thing to actually set up something and try to make a difference'

What's the difference between corporate social impact and shared value?
It's a question every business leader working on sustainability should be able to answer clearly.

Corporate social impact (often framed as CSR) is about a company's responsibility to "give back" — through philanthropy, compliance, or reputation-driven initiatives. It's usually voluntary, and it usually sits outside the core business.

Shared value is different. It's about embedding social and environmental problem-solving directly into the business model — so solving a real problem is the strategy, not an add-on to it.

In short: CSR is external and voluntary. Shared value is strategic and integrated.
A quick illustration:
🔹 CSR: A bank funds scholarships for local students or organizes community clean-ups — positive, but disconnected from its core lending business.
🔹 Shared value: A food company trains smallholder farmers to improve crop yields — strengthening its supply chain while improving farmer livelihoods, at the same time.

CSR is reactive, responding to expectations or reputational risk. Shared value is proactive, treating social challenges as sources of innovation and growth.
For organizations across Kenya and Africa, where needs like youth unemployment, sanitation, and climate resilience are urgent, this shift matters.

Moving from CSR to shared value can unlock scalable impact — growing markets while solving systemic problems, rather than funding one-off projects.

Why it matters:
✅ For businesses — sustainable competitive advantage.
✅ For society — resources that drive systemic change, not just donations.
✅ For partnerships — aligned incentives that deliver measurable outcomes.

This is exactly the conversation we're building at Relinked Group — connecting purpose-driven organizations and individuals moving beyond transactional partnerships toward real, lasting collaboration.

Local industries have a critical role to play in driving social and economic development, not just through product innovation, but by strengthening entire communities.

When industries adopt an integrated approach and collaborate across local ecosystems, local sourcing becomes more than a risk mitigation strategy; it becomes a competitive advantage. Backed by robust research and development, manufacturers can build resilient industries, create sustainable jobs, and make decisions that benefit communities as a whole.

This approach transforms nations from the ground up, fostering inclusive growth, restoring dignity, and positioning citizens to thrive in a world-class economy.

As the world watches the FIFA World Cup, our conversations revolve around goals, tactics, and trophies.

But perhaps the greatest story football tells in Africa isn't about what happens on the pitch. It's about what happens because the game is played.

This was the gist of Brian Wesaala's presentation at the Warriors for Good Summit! Football is more than a sport. It is infrastructure.

It connects communities, builds trust, develops leaders, opens pathways to education and employment, promotes healthier lifestyles, and creates platforms to deliver health, climate, and social initiatives at scale. Every match is an opportunity to strengthen communities.

This is already happening across Africa—from community tournaments that integrate health services to women's health initiatives in Kenya and Ghana, and through networks like the Africa Football Development Network (AFDN), which has reached more than 100,000 people through over 150 community access points.

When we begin to see football not just as entertainment, but as infrastructure, we unlock a powerful lens for advancing inclusive development, strengthening communities, and accelerating sustainable change.

As we follow the World Cup, perhaps the bigger question is this:

What if Africa's greatest football legacy isn't measured by the trophies we win, but by the lives we transform?
