We had a productive and inspiring engagement with our team alongside the County Health Management Team at Murang’a County Referral Hospital, as we prepare for the upcoming free fistula camp scheduled from 10th to 17th April.

This collaboration is more than just a meeting—it is a shared commitment to restoring dignity, hope, and health for women living with obstetric fistula. Together, we are aligning our efforts to deliver safe, life-changing surgeries and holistic care that will transform lives and give women a second chance.

We encourage any woman experiencing symptoms of fistula to come forward and seek treatment. You are not alone, and help is available. Early intervention is key. As we continue this journey, let us also champion safe motherhood by promoting hospital deliveries, as well as consistent antenatal and postnatal care.

This initiative is made possible through the invaluable support of our funding partner, M-Pesa Foundation, our media partner, Media Services, and the dedication of our strategic and implementation partners who continue to stand with us in reaching women across communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the County Government of Murang’a and all partners for their unwavering commitment to making this initiative a reality.

Together, we are restoring hope. Together, we are transforming lives.

Earlier today, The Flying Doctors Society of Africa and partners paid a courtesy visit to H.E. the Governor of West Pokot County as part of the ongoing Free Fistula Camp currently underway in the county and running until 13th February, 2026.

We sincerely thank the Governor and the County Government of West Pokot for the warm reception and continued leadership in strengthening maternal and reproductive health services. This engagement underscores the County’s commitment to restoring the dignity and well-being of women and girls.
