Through Studio Ng’aari Foundation’s Soko Rembo initiative, we are empowering Nairobi’s grandmothers with practical soap-making skills that can create opportunities for income and self-reliance.

The initiative also creates a safe space for them to share their stories and life experiences, opening conversations around mental health, emotional wellbeing and connection.

You can support this initiative through materials, training, product development or market access. 💛

WHEN PROGRESS PAUSES, THE STORY DOES NOT HAVE TO END.

A solar-powered borehole, fully developed in Kajiado, was built with a simple promise — to bring water closer to a community that needs it.

Today, it has been still for some time.

The images capture different moments of the same story: what was built, the reality of fetching water, and a quiet moment of looking at what remains unfinished.

But a pause is not the end.

The need remains. The possibility remains. What is needed now is the right support and partnership to help bring what was started back to life.

Sometimes, moving forward means continuing from where the journey stopped.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU. ❤️

When we reached out for support towards our August Holiday Creative Sessions, you showed up.

Because of your support, young people had a space to create through Art 🎨, express themselves through Dance 💃🏾, and develop focus and strategic thinking through Chess ♟️.

These images capture just a few of the moments made possible by everyone who contributed, encouraged, shared and believed in the program.

Thank you for investing in creativity, learning and the potential of young people. 🙏🏾

Studio Ng’aari Art Centre (SNAC) is a creative program under Studio Ng’aari Foundation (SNF), advancing our mission of spreading love through creativity.

The holiday sessions may be ending, but the creative journey continues. 🎨✨

Kept on forgetting that it was an award for 2026 and not 2025. Thankyou everyone for this. S.N.F is you.

Last Saturday, Studio Ng’aari Foundation was honoured as the Best NGO Initiative / Best NGO at the WEZESHA Awards 2026, following months of voting and support.

Coming at a time when SNF is navigating a season of restructuring and rebuilding, this recognition means more than an award. It is a reminder that the work, the journey and the impact matter.

To our children, parents, staff, volunteers, supporters, partners and the communities that have walked with us — this belongs to you. ❤️

We are deeply grateful to everyone who voted, encouraged, supported and believed in SNF.

SNF is not us. SNF is you.

We thank God for the opportunity to serve, to keep showing up, and to continue Spreading Love through Creativity.

To God be the glory. 🙏🏾

Every child deserves the opportunity to create, dream, and grow. 🎨❤️

This August, Studio Ng'aari Foundation, through Studio Ng'aari Art Centre, is creating a safe space where young people can unlock their potential through art, chess, literacy, performance, and creative expression.

Your support helps keep these opportunities alive for children in our community. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a lasting difference.

💛 Together, we're not just supporting a holiday program—we're investing in the next generation.

Because transforming communities is about more than meeting immediate needs—it's about developing minds.
Through Studio Ng'aari Art Center , one of our creative programs, children and young people are introduced to chess as a tool for learning patience, discipline, strategic thinking, resilience, and problem-solving. These are life skills that extend far beyond the chessboard.
At Studio Ng'aari Foundation, we believe creativity takes many forms. While art nurtures imagination, chess strengthens critical thinking. Together, they help build confident, thoughtful, and empowered young people ready to shape a better future.
Every move made today is an investment in tomorrow.
