Real Leaders Sit at the Table of Community Priorities

โ€‹Following our 3rd consultative meeting for the Kiamaiko Wide Open Civic Accountability Dialogue, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the MCA aspirants who consistently show up. Bringing political leaders together on one non-partisan table proves a shared commitment to a peaceful, issue-based electioneering period before, during, and after elections. The Kiamaiko Accountability Action Plan Team (KAAPT) emerged directly from findings in our REACH (Re-engagement, Empowerment Action and Community Health) project. After identifying deep gaps in protection, service delivery, and community safety in Thayu and Grogon villages, SAL-CBO created KAAPT to ensure anyone with community responsibility is held accountable in the best interest of our residents.
