A big thank you to the boys for coming thru for the first Barefoot Brotherhood men's circle in Thika. It was an awesome time. Our topic of discussion was ‘shame’.

The Barefoot Brotherhood is an out of town men's circle where we pour all our energy into building a mud hut for 2 hours. From here we have lunch and then talk freely in a safe space for another 2 hours. ‘Barefoot brotherhood’ because we will mix mud with our bare feet. The location is in Thika, Muruka, right on the tarmac road and is easily accessible by public transport. The next one is on 9th November as we build up to the finale for 2025 on 7th December. There are no charges, but donations are welcome, both in cash and in-kind (fruits, snacks or non-alcoholic drinks). Your donations help in sourcing the remaining building materials. The school holidays are here with us. Treat your entire family to a day of playing with and building with mud. This is an activity like no other they have ever experienced. We invite you to Thika, Muruka, this Saturday November 1st and every Saturday 10am-3pm. The location is right on the tarmac road and is easily accessible by public transport. Charges: Kshs. 1,000 per person, teenagers 500/- and its free for kids under 12 years old. This includes lunch and refreshments.
