🌍 THE NEXT GENERATION OF STORIES BEYOND BORDERS FACILITATORS IS TAKING SHAPE!

An important new phase of Stories Beyond Borders – Virtual Narratives for Civic Empowerment is underway: our partner organisations are currently selecting the Youth Workers who will become key actors in the project’s learning journey. 🙌

But what will their role be?

🎓 FIRST, THEY WILL LEARN.
Selected Youth Workers will take part in a dedicated training pathway designed to strengthen their competences in Virtual Exchanges, online facilitation, intercultural dialogue, civic participation, Design Thinking and collaborative digital storytelling.

🚀 THEN, THEY WILL PUT THEIR LEARNING INTO ACTION.
During the second year of the project, trained Youth Workers will move from participants to facilitators, guiding intercultural groups of young people through a series of Creative Virtual Exchanges.

They will help create safe and inclusive digital spaces where young people from different countries can meet, exchange perspectives, explore civic and social issues, and transform their experiences into creative digital stories.

💡 We are looking for Youth Workers ready to communicate, facilitate, create, learn, embrace different perspectives and empower young people to make their voices heard.

This is more than training.
It is about preparing the people who will connect young people across borders and turn dialogue into stories, creativity and civic participation.

On 3rd September 2026, we attended the 7th online meeting of the Stories Beyond Borders Project, bringing together partners to discuss the upcoming Youth Trainer Webinars and the in-person training workshop in Madagascar.

The program will combine:
Online webinars introducing creative storytelling methods, platform use, and intercultural facilitation techniques.

Training in Madagascar, focusing on hands-on practice, mock sessions, and collaborative planning for the upcoming virtual exchanges.

Ethical storytelling and intercultural sensitivity, ensuring that young people can share their stories in a respectful, inclusive, and meaningful way.
