Natural Capital Trust A non-profit organization committed to Transforming the lives of disadvantaged communities.

NCT was born out of experiences on the ground during a research aimed to assess rainwater harvesting practices in Makueni County. Despite water scarcities that characterize most of Kenya, many parts of the country, including, semi-arid regions, receive adequate rain that can be tapped to avert the water shortages. However, due to low levels investments in rainwater harvesting and inadequate capacity to manage projects sustainably utilization of rain water is far below the probable potential.
