A greener environment, healthier hands, and a brighter future.
This past Friday, the Rotary Club of Stoni Athi visited Kinanie Primary School, and what unfolded was a beautiful reminder that meaningful change often begins with simple acts of service.
The afternoon had our hands in the soil, planting trees that will grow alongside the children, offering shade for generations to come and reminding us that the future we hope for is one we must actively nurture today.
But caring for our environment is only part of the story. A healthy future also begins with healthy habits. In the spirit of Global Handwashing Day, we distributed soap to the learners and officially handed over a handwashing station to the school, creating more opportunities for the children to practise proper hand hygiene and protect their health.
As the trees found their place in the soil and the handwashing station found its place in the school community, one thing remained clear: service is most meaningful when it leaves a lasting impact.
At Kinanie Primary School, we planted more than trees. We nurtured hope, encouraged healthier habits, and strengthened our commitment to a greener, healthier community.
Because sometimes, the smallest actions today become the biggest difference tomorrow.
