At the Solidarity Alliance side event, Digital Battlegrounds: TFGBV Targeting Women Political Leaders in Africa's Election Cycles, leaders, advocates, and changemakers confronted the growing threat of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) and explored collective strategies to protect women participating in political life.

As election cycles unfold across the continent, safeguarding women's voices online is not just a digital rights issue—it is essential to the future of democracy, representation, and inclusive leadership.

When women are silenced online, democracy loses. When we stand together, solidarity becomes our strongest defence.
