Today, we join family, friends, and colleagues in mourning the loss of James Kariuki, a dear friend, valued partner, and one of the strongest supporters of the Immaculate & Adhoch Foundation.
James was a passionate career journalist and the founder of The Dispatch Daily, dedicated to telling African stories through an authentic African lens. He believed in the power of storytelling to inspire change, preserve dignity, and amplify voices that are too often unheard.
At the Foundation, James generously used his talent to document our work, bringing to life the stories of underserved communities across the country. Through his lens, he captured not only our activities but also the resilience, hope, and humanity of the people we serve. His work will continue to inspire us and remind us of the impact that powerful storytelling can have.
As he is laid to rest today, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. In his own words, "May the stories we tell breathe life to others long after we are gone." We take comfort in knowing that his stories and the lives he touched through them will continue to live on.
