Today we remember, with heavy hearts, the spirit that inspired the formation of this foundation.

Though gone too soon, her love, vision and impact continue to live on in everything we do.

Her legacy remains in our hearts and in the lives she touched. 🌹

Happy International Women’s Day! 💜

When girls and women have dignity, knowledge, and support, they rise — and entire communities rise with them.

Through our initiatives like Pads of Love, and our work across health, education, sports & talent development, WASH, and gender justice, we remain committed to ensuring girls and women stay confident, healthy, and empowered to reach their full potential.

In partnership with Nawiri Ladies CBO and ZanaAfrica, we hosted a periods and rights dialogue at Mukuru Kwa Njega last week on Saturday 21st February.

The dialogue focused on supporting honest, safe conversations where girls openly shared their experiences, asked questions, and challenged long-held myths around menstruation. Youth mentors then moved into practical menstrual hygiene education and sensitization sessions which covered topics such as proper pad use, hygiene practices, cycle awareness, and building confidence during periods.

The session closed with pad distribution, ensuring every girl left not only informed, but equipped.

At Immaculate & Adhoch Foundation, we believe that dignity is not just about access it’s about voice, knowledge, and support.

On this day, two years ago, we kicked off the journey at Birini Mwamleka Primary School in Kilifi County.

Today, we proudly reflect on 9 major and 2 minor pad distributions, reaching over 3,000 women and girls across 7 counties in Kenya.

Our commitment to and remains unwavering.

Watch out for the next edition.

Community Outreach: Supporting Young Mothers 💜

Last Friday, we partnered with ZanaAfrica and a youth-led group Mama Zetu to support teen and young mothers (18–24 years) in Kariobangi North.

The sessions focused on menstrual health and hygiene and contraceptive awareness. We discussed how understanding contraception helps young mothers take care of their reproductive health, plan their families, and make informed choices about their bodies.

We also distributed packs of 16 sanitary pads to 100 young mothers, helping them manage their periods with dignity and confidence.

Together with our partners, we remain committed to supporting vulnerable women and girls including young mothers through education, care, and community support.

Every pad we give is a step toward dignity, safety, and opportunity for our girls.

We’re thrilled to share that the 8th Pads of Love distribution reached 128 girls at Busulere Primary School in Funyula, Busia County on the 9th of October.

Each girl received 3 packs of sanitary pads containing 8 pieces each and joined an interactive session on menstrual health and hygiene. We also set up a school pad bank with 116 packs of 8 pads each that we will regularly replenish for sustainability.

This distribution was not just to ensure the girls stay in school with confidence for the remainder of the term, but also aimed to shield them from “sex for pads” risks, especially as the long December holidays begin.

Through Pads of Love, we’re building a future where no girl misses school or risks her dignity because of her period.

A big thank you to all our partners and supporters. Your kindness keeps this initiative alive. Together, we’re changing lives - one pad, one girl, one community at a time!
