( Nairobi, 11 May 2026) . United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres and President William Ruto of Kenya were the chief guests at the groundbreaking ceremony of the New Conference Facility at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya, on May 11, 2026.

The UN Secretary-General later held a press conference with the media.
