REPORT ON RAMADAN WATER DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM*

Introduction
Today, 26th February 2026, we conducted a Ramadan Water Distribution Program in Umar Jelecow Village outside Mandera. The purpose of the program was to support vulnerable families facing water shortages during the holy month of Ramadan.
Objective of the Program
The main objective was to provide clean and safe water to residents experiencing water scarcity, especially during this important period of fasting when access to water is essential.

Activities Carried Out
Two water tankers were deployed to the village to distribute water to households. Community members gathered in an organized and orderly manner with their containers to receive water. The distribution process was peaceful and well-coordinated to ensure fairness and efficiency.

Impact of the Program
The program benefited many families who lack reliable access to clean water. Residents expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the support, as it eased their daily struggles during Ramadan. The initiative contributed positively to the health and well-being of the community.

Conclusion
The Ramadan Water Distribution Program was successful and impactful. It demonstrated compassion, unity, and commitment to serving vulnerable communities. Continued humanitarian support is highly recommended to improve living conditions in marginalized areas.

🌍 Mandera Youth Come Together for a Successful Mentorship, Tree Planting & Blood Donation Drive at Mandera TTC

Today, Mandera Teachers Training College (TTC) came alive with hope, unity, and purpose as hundreds of young people gathered for a powerful Mentorship, Tree Planting, and Blood Donation event, organized by the Mandera County Students Association (MACSA).

The event brought together key county leaders, including the Governor of Mandera County, H.E. Mohamed Adan Khalif, alongside the Deputy Governor, county executives, and directors, who all joined hands to support youth-led community initiatives.

The day’s activities focused on empowering young minds, protecting the environment, and saving lives through blood donation — a true reflection of community service and leadership in action.

The ASAL Generation Achievers (A.G.A.O) team proudly participated in the event, showing remarkable enthusiasm, teamwork, and visibility throughout the program. Their strong engagement, especially in the tree planting and mentorship sessions, captured the attention of many, earning appreciation from both the county officials and fellow youth groups.

Through their presence, A.G.A.O continues to champion youth empowerment, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability across the ASAL regions. 🌿💚

The event stood as a reminder that when youth unite with one vision and purpose, lasting change becomes possible — for the people, for the planet, and for the next generation. 🌍✨

🌸 Empowering Girls, Shaping the Future 🌸

On October 9th, 2025, our team from Asal Generation Achievers (AGAO) visited Khalalio Secondary School for a Girls’ Empowerment activity.

The team engaged students in inspiring discussions on confidence, education, and self-worth, and distributed sanitary pads to promote dignity and comfort in learning.

We sincerely thank the school administration and students for their warm welcome and cooperation. 🤍

This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering young girls, uplifting communities, and building a generation of achievers. 💪✨
