The delegation, led by County 48's representative, comprised individuals who had migrated from Diaspora County 48 to various parts of the world. They came together with a shared goal of contributing to the development and progress of their homeland.

The DC48K Qatar chapter recently hosted an electrifying event that brought together Kenyans living in Qatar for an unforgettable experience. The event was attended by a diverse group of Kenyans from different parts of Qatar, all united by their shared love for Kenya and their desire to make a positive impact in their home country.

Thanks to the generous contributions from DC48K Qatar chapter members, the event was able to come to life in a breathtaking venue, Sealine Beach in Qatar. The stunning scenery added a touch of glamour to the already exciting event, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.

The purpose of the event was to introduce Kenyans living in Qatar to the DC48K initiative, and it was an opportunity to educate them about the amazing work that the organization is doing. Attendees were briefed about the organization's vision and mission, which left them inspired and eager to contribute to the cause.

The direction that politics are taking nowadays is a very risky path. When we consider the recent comments made by the president on seizing the lands of 'absentee landlords', it's highly likely that diasporas will be the most affected. We're the ones who purchase land everywhere, yet we don't reside there, but we have future investment prospects in land assets. It's evident that such statements made by the president are provocative and could cause tribal clashes, for instance, in Kwale where he made those remarks. It's difficult to understand why he chose to make those comments in Kwale. This is a new challenge that diasporas should handle carefully given the ongoing microaggressions. What can we do together to voice the diaspora's standpoint regarding the properties that many have back home? This could be due to organized legal theft.
